    WELCOME

Head of Institute: Michael MESCHIK, Ass.Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Dr.

Based in the Department of Spatial-, Landscape- and Infrastructure Sciences we teach and research in the following fields:

  • Planning of future oriented transport services and infrastructures
  • Analysis and strategic development of transport demand and mobility
  • Advancement of methods, focussing on methods for data collection of mobility behaviour and for modelling transport and related environmental effects

Our work’s aim is to contribute to the development of future oriented transport systems. These transport systems are meant to guarantee access and mobility for persons and goods also under changing framework conditions such as demographic developments, scarce fossil resources and climate change.
