Stadsontwikkeling Rotterdam
Since 2005 Annemieke Fontein is head of the Department of Landscape architecture at the municipality of Rotterdam. In that role, she is responsible for the quality and the development of the products of the Department. Products/activities where she has put extra energy in recent years are the Landscape plan for the river, Rotterdam Styl, a designer manual with guidelines for design of public space, the redevelopment Zuiderpark (200 ha city park).
As supervisor she is actively involved in the quality impulse for the public realm inner City, the implementation of urban agriculture ,‘the greening the city’ project. She takes also part in quality team for ministry of Transport/RWS for two big infrastructural developments around Rotterdam- the A16, a new road north of the city, and the Nieuwe Westelijke Oever verbinding, at the east side of the city.

Stadträume Zürich - Stadterneuerung durch öffentliche Räume

Jacqueline Parish hat in Schottland und Holland studiert und über lange Jahre als Landschaftsarchitektin praktiziert; sie hat berufsbegleitend an der ETH Zürich Raumplanung studiert und am Departement Architektur den Master of Advanced Studies in Landschaftsarchitektur geleitet. Seit 2007 leitet sie den Fachbereich Gestaltung Stadträume im Tiefbauamt der Stadt Zürich und ist außerdem als Fachexpertin zum Thema Stadtentwicklung und öffentlicher Raum tätig.
Mit der Strategie Stadträume Zürich hat der Fachbereich Gestaltung in Zusammenarbeit mit anderen Stellen ein umfangreiches Leitwerk für die Gestaltung öffentlicher Räume in der Stadt Zürich geschaffen. Das Werk umfasst die wichtigsten strategischen Ziele, welche im Rahmen anstehender Bauvorhaben im öffentlichen Stadtraum umgesetzt werden. Eine klare Hierarchisierung der Stadträume, eine kohärente Gestaltung und optimale Aufenthaltsqualität werden dabei bei jedem neuen Bauvorhaben angestrebt.

Andrea Kyburz ||| Planungsamt Basel, CH
Andrea Kyburz, Jahrgang 1974, studierte Landschaftsarchitektur und CAS (Nachdiplomstudium) in Gartendenkmalpflege an der Hochschule für Technik Rapperswil (CH)
Von 1999 bis 2012 arbeitete sie als Projektleiterin in verschiedenen privaten Landschaftsarchitekturbüros in der Schweiz bis sie 2012 als Landschaftsarchitektin ins Planungsamt Basel wechselte.
Dort entwickelte sie das Gestaltungskonzept Innenstadt (GKI), das Fragen behandelt, wie sich die Strassen, Gassen und Plätze in der Basler Innenstadt in ihrer Gesamtheit langfristig gestalterisch entwickeln sollen.

Karl Otto Ellefsen (b. 1948) is professor of urbanism at the Institute of Urbanism and Landscape at The Oslo School of Architecture & Design (AHO).
He was rector of AHO from 2002 to 2014, and is currently President of the European Association of Architectural Education.
He has broad experience from tuition and research, and has been published widely within the fields of urbanism, architectural critique, urban history and urban planning.
Ellefsen had different constituting roles in the development of National Tourist Routes project in Norway.
